Back in the August edition of TJ, we talked to Jackie Orme about her plans for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
She had been the CIPD’s new chief executive for just four months and had plenty to say about the future relationship between HR and L&D, admitting that “if I was an L&D practitioner right now, I’d be looking forward to an exciting future”.
We asked TJ readers to submit their questions about the CIPD and its relationship to the L&D function; these are Orme’s answers.
