            <title>E-portfolios must reform to maintain credibility </title>

            <description>E-portfolios need to become interconnected like social networking sites if they are to remain credible, according to the European Institute for E-Learning (EifEL).

Speaking in London last week, EiFEL chief executive Serge Ravet said e-portfolios, which are used to collate evidence of learning over a period of time, needed to become less fragmented and take advantage of the internet’s network infrastructure.</description>

            <title>Training professionals signal dissatisfaction with their employers</title>

            <description>A report published this week is warning of considerable dissatisfaction among training professionals, arising from significant regional variations in their salary and benefits.

The survey, commissioned by recruitment firm GPRS Recruitment, reveals 56 per cent of qualified professionals employed by businesses providing workplace training would consider moving to another employer.</description>
